UPSC announces SCRA July 2009 examination result
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) Examination held in July 2009.

The list of candidates, in order of merit, of 45 candidates including 24 General, 13 Other Backward Classes, 6 Scheduled Castes, and 2 Scheduled Tribes, who have been recommended by the Commission for appointment as Special Class Railway Apprentices' in the Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers has been announced.


"The Ministry of Railways will conduct the medical examination and issue a communication for medical examination to the candidates individually within 21 days from the date of declaration of final result," said a UPSC official.

The number of vacancies as intimated by the Railway Board is 45.

The UPSC has a facilitation counter at its campus. Candidates may obtain any information /clarification regarding their examination/results on working days between 10.00 am to 5.00 pm in person or over telephones Nos. 011-23381125 or 011-23385271 or 011-23098543 from this counter.
