New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) today announced the results of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2008.

The result is based on the written part of the exam held by the commission from November 22nd to November 25th, 2008.

The candidature of these candidates is provisional. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, all qualified
candidates have to fill up the Detailed Application Form, (DAF) which will be supplied to them by the Commission before being called for Interview/Personality Test.

In case any candidate does not receive a communication in this regard from the Commission by 29th May, 2009, he/she should immediately contact the Commission in the matter on Telephone No.011-23098543, 23385271, 23387402 or on Fax No.011-23387310 giving his/her particulars (i.e. full name, Roll Number and date of birth, address etc.).

The candidate may also contact in person at the facilitation counter at Gate "C" of the Commission office.

The marks-sheets of candidates, who have not qualified, shall be available on the Commission's Website within one month from the publication of the results and would be available on Web-site for a period of 60 days.
