AIPVT 2012 to be conducted on May 12
New Delhi: The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) has announced to conduct the All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) 2012 for admission to B.V.Sc. and A.H. Courses for academic session 2012-13 on May 12, 2012.

Candidates should be Indian National. However, aspirants from the state of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to take this exam as the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 has not been extended to this state. If these candidates want to apply for the test, they are required to submit an affidavit.

Those who have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are eligible to take the examination. For SC/ST and OBCs minimum marks should be 40%.

Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31, 2012. Those attaining seventeen years on 1st January, 2013 or later will not be eligible for the admission.

Application forms will be received till February 15, 2012. However, candidates belonging to far flung areas like Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Lakshadweep and many others can submit the forms by March 3, 2012.
